Legends Balloon Rally

September 24 – September 25, 2010

Hot Springs Memorial Field Airport
525 Airport Road
Hot Springs National Park, AR United States 71913

Classic family fun, spectacular hot air balloons, and live music are just a few things the Legends Balloon Rally has to offer, and the best partits all free!

This unique outdoor event that began in 2008 is held at Hot Springs Memorial Field Airport. Friday and Saturdayevening, balloons from all over the country are tethered to the ground for the magnificent balloon glow. The flickering glow of each balloon creates a beautiful display in the evening light. Balloons are piloted by a veteran balloonist with no less than 300 hours experience.

The concerts this year will feature Legends in their own field, country music artists Clint Black on Friday night and The Charlie Daniels Band on Saturday. Saturday will also feature a car show and childrens area!

Please remember to bring your own chairs. Concessions will be available. No ice chests or dogs are allowed. If you are interested in being a volunteer or have any questions, please contact Chrissy Egleston at cegleston@hotsprings.org or call (501) 321-2027.

If you need to find lodging for this weekend event, make sure to check out 1890 Williams house. Our central location is convenient lodging to many Hot Springs
attractions and only five blocks from the Historic Downtown shopping
area and world famous Bathhouse Row. You will also find many fine
restaurants and galleries in this historic district.
